American Gods stars Yetide Badaki and Ricky Whittle join Comic Con Africa line-up

Johannesburg – Comic Con Africa on Wednesday announced the addition of American Gods actors Yetide Badaki and Ricky Whittle to their line-up.

Known for his role on American Gods as Shadow Man, Ricky Whittle made his modelling debut eighteen years ago. The star is best known in the UK for his role as Calvin Valentine in the British soapie Hollyoaks.

He has also had recurring roles on VH-1’s Single Ladies and ABC’s Mistresses.

Joining Ricky is Nigerian-born actress Yetide Badaki who plays Bliquis on American Gods. Yetide has also guest starred on the Showtime series Masters of Sex and was on the Sony Crackle series Sequestered with Jesse Bradford and Summer Glau.

Taking place from 14 to 16 September at the Kyalami Grand Prix Circuit and International Convention Centre, the Comic Con Africa line-up also includes Aquaman’s Jason Mamoa and The Big Bang Theory’s Kevin Sussman.
