Cape Town - Local actress Amo Chidi has announced her pregnancy, with a stylish maternity photo shoot on Instagram.
In the stunning photo, the Rhythm City actress wears a headdress, and is draped in printed fabric showing off her blossoming bump.
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart. Jeremiah 1:5," the 29-year-old captioned a photo of herself cradling her baby bump.
The shock reveal immediately sparked messages of congratulations and well wishes from her fans.
Speaking to The Juice Amo, who keeps her relationship under wraps, says: "I'm extremely excited about this new chapter in my life, I've always wanted to me a mother. Gods timing couldn't have been better."
Amo declined to comment on the gender of the baby, but says she will reveal more about her pregnancy in the coming weeks.
About her partner she says: "He can't wait to be a parent."
