Another loss for the local TV industry

Cape Town – It was another sad day on the local entertainment news front on Monday as the South African TV industry lost yet another talented actor.

Actor Jabu Christopher Kubheka, who played the role of Gunman on the SABC1 drama Yizo Yizo, was found dead after an alleged suicide at his Soshanguve house on Monday afternoon.

This sad news follows the death of 50/50 presenter Johann Botha last week after he was shot during a robbery at a bar at the Maboneng Precinct. Other actors who passed away earlier this year include veteran actor Joe Mafela who died following a car accident and former Generations actor Mandla Hlatshwayo who was shot while trying to assist two women who were being robbed.
