Johannesburg – Singer CiCi may be very vocal about the abuse allegations she has made against ex-boyfriend Arthur Mafokate, but the kwaito star says he has purposely chosen to remain quiet throughout the legal battle he faces against her.
While CiCi has spoken out on numerous occasions about the alleged violent altercation that took place between herself and Arthur in 2017, including chatting about it on Trending SA and on social media, Arthur released a statement on Instagram on Monday saying that he has “deliberately not commented” on any of CiCi’s posts.
“Dear CiCi as I said this morning on Power FM, I have deliberately not commented on all your social media posts, not just for my own sake, but also for your dignity. I will keep doing exactly that until the court processes have been finalized (sic),” he wrote.
On Tuesday Arthur was at the center of media attention when SAMRO released a statement saying that they had removed him from his non-executive director position on the SAMRO Board.
The muso was also in the firing line after news surfaced that he had plans of joining the 100 Men March against women and child abuse. He later decided not to take part in the march, releasing a statement on why he made that decision.
