Johannesburg - Nothing beats waking up with the sun and getting your sweat on.
The feeling is even better when Adidas invites you to a 6.30am session at a pop-up gym on a rooftop.
Hundreds of women gathered at the Sandton City rooftop to enjoy a great three hours of sweaty fun.
Miss SA, Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, was among them.
The morning started with a yoga session to get the body ready for the more rigorous aerobics workout to follow.
The event, hosted by Letshego Zulu and Khethiwe Mlangeni, was well organised.
Instagram exercise sensation Mapule Ndhlovu – better known by her handle @Queenfitnass – gave some of the attendees a skipping rope challenge and a burpee challenge.
The winner of each challenge walked away with a R5 000 Adidas voucher.
The really fun part was the Afropolitan Gumboot workout, which was a first for many.
After the women collected the boots that Adidas was giving away, everybody got back in place to challenge themselves doing gumboot dancing moves.
This was a morning well spent.
Every morning should start like this.
