DJ Black Coffee has definitely made a name for himself in the industry!
Born Nkosinathi Innocent Maphumulo, Black Coffee is one of the most successful House DJs in Mzansi and he is now a force to be reckoned with internationally.
Over the weekend the Durban-born DJ performed at the LIV – a club in Miami, Florida, in the US – and his celeb friends, Alicia Keys and her producer hubby Swizz Beatz, couldn’t wait to see him play.
The power couple joined the 41-year-old BET winner at the club and danced while he played on the decks.
Black Coffee has worked with Alicia before – surprising everyone by remixing Alicia’s popular song, In Common, into a House version.
The song received over 6 million views on YouTube.
