Black Coffee joins SA's Axe men

Johannesburg – Renowned DJ Black Coffee has joined the Axe deodorant brand as an ambassador.

The announcement was made at a star-studded party in Johannesburg on Monday. 

“We’re proud to announce our partnership with @RealBlackCoffee, taking Africa’s DJs to the world (sic),” a tweet from the official Axe page read.

 

Maps Maponyane, who has also worked with Axe before, took the reigns as host for the night getting the chance to chat to black coffee about his new venture. 

"On stage a few minutes ago interviewing the one and only @realblackcoffee as he announced his DJ search competition and brand ambassadorship with @AXE_SA, and their launch of a new fragrance collection - I think this is going to be a BIG one. Watch this space! (sic)," Maps captioned a post on Instagram.

Other stars in attendance included Lalla Hirayama and DJ Euphonik.

Black Coffee's gorgeous wife Enhle Mbali was there too. Check out footage of the couple on the dance floor below:
