Former Miss South Africa, Bokang Montjane has always been mum about her relationship with her soccer star hubby Siphiwe until recently. In an interview with Gareth Cliff on CliffCentral Bokang shared details about how her courtship began with the Kaizer Chief skipper.

HOW HE GOT HER NUMBER

She revealed that they met at a radio station in 2010. She had just come out of an interview and he was going in for his interview. The skipper asked Bokang to take a picture with him and he even asked for her number from the radio station. "He went behind my back and he just went after the people at the radio station. He begged them, they said 'we're not allowed to' and he said 'please, please, please' and eventually he got my numbers," she told Gareth.

PLAYING HARD TO GET

The beauty queen made the soccer star wait for 2 years before they started dating, the pair only started with their courtship in 2012. “She said she wanted somebody to grow with, adding: "Somebody I can build with and we're in business together, we do so many things together."

DOING THINGS THEIR OWN WAY

Bokang highlighted the fact that they did things their way is what protected their relationship from public scrutiny. "We didn't do it as a public relationship. And I think you just wanna protect it especially at the beginning, you just wanna do you and let it be the two of you and see how far it can get." Now the couple is happily married for almost a year, they have a son and things keep getting blissful for the two lovebirds.
