Bonang gives Cassper advice on dealing with negativity: 'Let it go'

Johannesburg – Like many celebrities, Cassper Nyovest is subjected to a fair amount of criticism through social media.

The rapper, who had drinks thrown at him during a performance last weekend, usually does not let pessimists get him down.

On Tuesday he found another reason to remain positive when he tweeted that a well-known radio presenter called him to say that she will be making him the focus of her radio show. The star says the unnamed presenter added that the show would be one filled with positivity.

"A prominent radio personality hit me randomly, told me her show was inspired by me 2day, she gone be taking about me in a positive light (sic)," he wrote, adding further on in the post: "In the midst of all dats been happening, especially on social media where lies go further than the truth, I appreciate it when others show love. [sic]"

Popular SA presenter Bonang Matheba stumbled upon the tweet, giving Cassper some advice on how to deal with negativity.

"You focus too much on the negative sometimes my friend. Let it go," she wrote.

While many thought Bonang was not in a position to be dishing out such advice, Cassper took it in good spirits, responding with the following: "I do? I don't think so but if you say so then, Lebonza, you have spoken so I must sharrap (Bheki Cele Voice)!!!"
