Bonang keeps her promise and blesses fan with an Xbox

Cape Town - Local TV personality Bonang Matheba promised 20-year-old Chuene Ngoepe an Xbox One gaming console if he could get 3 000 retweets, well he managed to do so and Queen B kept her word.

Speaking to The Juice, Chuene, who is a second-year design student at Wits University, says that it has always been one of his dreams to own the gaming console and he hopes to one day design video games.

In April, he simply took a chance and tweeted Bonang, saying: "How many retweets for you to buy me a Xbox one?"

The risk paid off as Bonang replied with the magic number: 3 000.

Chuene rallied and managed to reach his goal the very same say, and four weeks later the Xbox was delivered to his doorstep.

When asked how he felt when he received the gaming console, he says: "I was so excited. I can't thank her enough."

The Juice reached out to Celebrity Services SA, but they were unavailable to comment.
