Bonang Matheba confirms relationship status amidst Fatmir Hysenbelliu romance rumours: 'I'm happy'

Cape Town - Local TV personality Bonang Matheba and Albanian businessman and former football player, Fatmir Hysenbelliu have fueled romance rumours.

Sparked by the Being Bonang reality star's recent trip to Albania, fans unearthed a tweet from November 2018, which stated: "I'm gonna go live with my man in Albania." 

Bonang first hinted about a new romance in August 2018 when she gushed about getting  "kisses from her man" on Twitter.

Two months later, Bonang responded to a Twitter user who suggested that she a date a "rich Arab man," by saying: "I have one already."

It is reported that Bonang posted several Instagram Stories of her mystery man, but those posts have since been removed. 

"Fridays in Albania," Bonang captioned a photo of herself in the country's capital Tirana. The photo was taken by photographer Erdi Mara.

Both Bonang and Fatmir follow the photographer on Instagram.

According to reports Bonang's rumoured boyfriend was identified as 27-year-old Albanian businessman and former football player Fatmir Hysenbelliu. 

Both celebrities follow each other on Instagram and Bonang often "likes" the businessman's photos or adds a cute comment or emoji to his posts. 

Speaking to Channel24 in March, Bonang confirmed that she was in a relationship saying: "I've taken great care in managing my personal life and keeping it out of my business and my brand since I left my ex. That is how I like it to be, and I'm happy, and therefore life is good."

Channel24 reached out to Bonang's PR team at Celebrity Services Africa who said: "I have no comment as the mentioned reports are pure speculation."

Attempts to reach Albanian photographer Erdi Mara for comment have been unsuccessful, with our Whatsapp messages being left on "read."
