Cape Town - Bonang Matheba recently announced that President Cyril Ramphosa’s inauguration will be toasted with her Brut but it looks like this could all be a fib especially after former Minister of Sports Fikile Mbalula dismissed this endorsement.
“There's no such endorsement,” Mbalula tweeted in response to a reporter who was congratulating the entertainment star on bagging such a grand deal.
According to Mbalula the governing party comes from, “a bruising election we cant entertain such nonsense… (sic)” Mbalula tweeted.
“…this is not a Hollywood party is an inauguration of a President who must serve his people.
”Speaking to DRUM an agent at the presidential office who did not want to be named said, “I don’t think they’ll allow alcohol”, it still remains unclear whether or not Bonang’s bubbly wil bel the drink of choice for toasting off at the inauguration.
Drum then tried to get a hold of presidential media spokesperson numerous times but she had not answered at the time of publishing.
