Bouwer and Leandie call it quits after three years of marriage

Cape Town - Musician Bouwer Bosch and his wife actress Leandie du Randt have ended their three year marriage.

The couple tied the knot in 2015 in Potchefstroom. 

Remembering their big day, Leandie shared a photo from their wedding day on Instagram in January, writing: "What a beautiful day it was."

Announcing their separation on Instagram, Bouwer and Leandie shared an identical statement: "After an amazing couple of years together, Leandie [Bouwer] and I have decided out of love for each other that we are better as friends than spouses."

"The decision in grounded in love for each other," they added. 

The pair ended the statement saying that as it is a "sensitive time" for the pair, they will not be releasing any further comment.
