Johannesburg – You can now officially see Pearl Thusi as a warrior princess in the fifth installment of the Scorpion King franchise.
The movie was released on DVD on 23 October, with Pearl excitedly sharing the news on social media.
"It's finally here!! I am so proud of this movie and what we achieved. Thank you to our amazing director Don Michael Paul and the Entire cast & crew!!! What an honour!!!!" she wrote.
And while seeing Pearl kick butt on your TV screen is pretty cool, the actress also took fans behind-the-scenes in a clip posted to Instagram in which she showcased her battle skills while on the set of the movie.

In this installment of the franchise, called Scorpion King: Book Of Souls, Pearl plays the role of Tala, a Nubian warrior princess who teams up with the Scorpion King, played by Zach McGowan, in search of the legendary Book of Souls.
The movie was shot in Cape Town where Channel24 had the opportunity to visit the set and have a chat with Pearl.
