Cassper Nyovest and Diamond Platnumz fuse on Coke Studio

Johannesburg – This week’s installment of Coke Studio brings you two musical giants – local megastar Cassper Nyovest and Tanzania’s Diamond Platnumz, both multi-award winning artists who have always dreamt of working on a track together.

That dream is realised when the two meet in the Coke Studio. The energy in studio is electric as Cassper brings his unique Motswako feel, while Diamond Platnumz comes to the party with his Swahili flair, producing a great African fusion.

Funk-Rock band, Nje from Durban, and Limpopo Hip-Hop artist, SpaceMunna, are paired together for an unlikely fusion, with the help of legendary producer Denholm Harding.

Portia from Nje gets into the recording booth to add her vocals to the tune laid down by Denholm. She stumbles across a few hurdles, but everything soon falls into place. SpaceMunna and the Nje band do a stellar job in creating a new sound which incorporates Funk, Pop, Rock and Hip-Hop.
