Cape Town - The time for giving has arrived – and celebrities are giving back to their fans.
Cassper Nyovest took to Twitter to pledge R100 000 of his December gig money to help a fan and her peers pay off their school tuition fees. The 27-year-old rapper met up with the student yesterday to cement the deal.
It all started when a university student started the #R1PaysMyFees campaign on Twitter, which the rapper saw and responded to. She also sells homemade ginger juice to raise funds to pay off her, and her peers’, tuition fees.
