Catch hip-hop heavyweight AKA on the next Coke Studio

Johannesburg – It’s almost time for the action-packed third episode of Coke Studio!

This week Coke Studio has upped the ante by bringing you two of music’s most powerful heavyweights – hip-hop master AKA, alongside Nigerian vocalist and reggae dancehall king, Patoranking. 

These two spent 48 smashing hours working with producer Gospelondebeatz, who also produced Patoranking’s hit song, No Kissing. Of course, when you put two “kings of their craft” together, you are guaranteed a track that will light up the dance floor. And that is exactly what happened when these artists hit the studio, producing their song, Special Fi Mi. 

The second part of the show sees temperatures sky-rocketing as a missed flight threatens to halt the artistic process between RAW artist and vocalist, Roxy from Cape Town, and acoustic duo ABC Band from Bloemfontein. But in the end, it all comes together as the guys start jamming and laying some tunes with producer Wilson in Roxy’s absence.
