Isithembiso star Shonisani Masutha has had to swop her daily life on set for some downtime and meditation at home.

The 28-year-old had just launched her own braid collection when the world came to a halt.

Now, she has gone from travelling the country and keeping busy with shoots and promoting her brand to watching TV, eating and giving herself the break she most definitely deserves.

DRUM got in touch with the star to find out how she spends her days.

Wakes up: Between 6:00 and 6:30.

"My biological clock is set, and I am an early bird because of call times."

First thing she does after waking up: "Say a prayer 'Dear God, thank you so much for waking me up this morning. In Jesus Christ name I pray. Amen', then I check my phone."

Breakfast: "Either Coco Pops or eggs, bacon, avocado and tomato sandwich."

Lunch: "Normally a protein like lamb, fish, chicken and then a salad or garlic bread. Something quick and easy."

Supper: "I usually eat leftovers from lunch. I am eating way more, it's worrying because there's life after the lockdown and so I've decided to try intermittent fasting again. Let's see if that helps!"

Between meals: "I have been working on my showreel, Shonisani Braid social media, learning monologues for #monologuechallenges, trying new recipes, reading The Power of Habit, singing a lot, writing and going over old footage, looking at archives and trying to get inspired."

Her watchlist: "Westworld right now I am addicted and The River on Mzansi Magic. There's also Uhambo on Showmax, Kodwa Ma on Mzansi Bioskop (I am in those movies so check them out) also, Mehek is back on Zeeworld Africa every day at 17:00 if you want to catch it again."

Bedtime: "Normally around 23:00, depending on how much I’ve done."
