CiCi on case against Arthur: I will never stop fighting

Johannesburg – Sharing a message on Twitter, CiCi made it clear that she will “never stop fighting” until she finds justice – referring to a case she made against ex-boyfriend Arthur Mafokate after an alleged violent altercation between herself and the kwaito star.

It was reported in July 2017 that CiCi's battle against Arthur would be taken to court. This after the singer had laid assault charges against Arthur.

The kwaito star in return laid charges of assault against CiCi as well.

eNCA reported in November 2017 that CiCi's case against Arthur had been postponed to January 2018. Now the singer says her case will finally go to trial.

Taking to Twitter on Tuesday CiCi shared the following message:

“After months of fighting and threats my court case against Mafokate finally goes to trial 14th March. I will never stop fighting until I get some form of justice. Too often women shy away from standing up for themselves because we worry what the world will say."

In another post the star carried on: "Because of how the law in this country is structured it's tends to protect the perpetrators instead of the victim. Their time is up #Notowomanabuse."
