Comic Con Cape Town adds 'Umbrella Academy' star Tom Hopper to line-up

Johannesburg – Comic Con Cape Town is around the corner, and the convention has already started adding international names to their guest list. 

On Monday, it was announced via social media that English actor Tom Hopper would be attending the event. Tom starred in projects like Umbrella Academy, Game of Thrones and I Feel Pretty.

"BREAKING NEWS! @Tomhopperhops (Umbrella Academy, Merlin, Black Sails, Game of Thrones) will be at #ComicConCPT on all 3 days," a post on the official Comic Con Cape Town Instagram account reads. 

The convention will take place from 1 to 3 May 2020a, and, according to a previous statement, will have a "strong focus on films and series". 

American Gods actor Ricky Whittle has also been added to the lineup.
