Congrats flood in for DJ Speedsta as his single Mayo goes gold

Cape Town - Local DJ Speedsta – who recently joined Metro FM along with Lootlove – has a gold selling single with his hit, Mayo.

According to the Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) a single is certified gold when it sells 10 000 copies.

The young producer got shout-outs from his collaborators and fans as #Mayogoesgold trended throughout SA with tons of tweets.

Among those tweets was Yung Swiss who was also featured on the track. Swiss said the following about working on the track, on his Twitter: “After I dd that Mayo hook for Speedy, I was still a bit frustrated. He told me "stop stressing, Mayo is enough". Fast forward..(sic)”
