Mzansi power couple, Connie and Shona Ferguson of production house, Ferguson Films have faced months of backlash mainly from fans for allegedly ill-treating their workers, poor payment and providing unfair working conditions.
Each time they made headlines, fans were left questioning why they kept bleeding talent.
Despite this, the pair kept quiet and are now speaking up, in an attempt to set the record straight.
"There’s nothing sinister in our staff turnover rate," the couple told DRUM.
