Cape Town - Do you know what today is? It’s Shona and Connie Ferguson’s 17th wedding anniversary and we’re swooning at how everlasting their love is.
They may be sworn enemies in their TV series The Queen on Mzansi Magic but in real life they’ve built a television empire and a family together with their two children.

Taking to Instagram to celebrate his 17th wedding anniversary, Shona Ferguson penned a heart-warming letter to his wife as he shared a series of pictures of the couple’s journey since they got married.
“17 years. Still holding each other’s hands. STILL looking into your eyes , you STILL give me butterflies ,STILL miss you when I’m not with you , we STILL share the same dreams , we STILL encourage and build each other. You STILL think I’m funny. We STILL face battles together & continue to be victorious, [sic]” he wrote before quoting Tupac’s lyrics.
Connie also celebrated the day by posting all the magazine covers they’ve done together over the years – including four of our very own DRUM Magazine covers – and wrote a sweet message of gratitude for their marriage.
