Correction and apology to Uyanda Mbuli

Correction and apology:

In article published on www.channel24.co.za on 7 March 2019 titled "6 local celebs who've admitted to getting cosmetic surgery", Channel24 reported that TV personality Uyanda Mbuli underwent rhinoplasty.

Channel24's article referred to an interview with IOL titled "A nip here and a tuck there" as a source in which Uyanda was quoted talking about the topic.

Uyanda has brought it to Channel24's attention that the information in the article is in fact untrue and not correct and a "misrepresentation of my name, brand, and image".

At Channel24 we commit ourselves to the highest standards, to maintain credibility and keep the trust of the public. This means always striving for truth and avoiding unnecessary harm. After consulting with Uyanda, we have taken the editorial decision to remove the article from our platform.

Channel24's intention with the article was never to cause Uyanda any distress and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
