Crime dominates local entertainment news headlines

Cape Town – As rain and fire caused devastation across South Africa, it was also a sad day on the local entertainment news front as crime dominated the headlines.

Local TV presenter and producer, Johann Botha was shot dead in a robbery in the Maboneng Precinct on Wednesday night. 

On the same evening Miss South Africa Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters escaped an attempted hijacking on Jan Smuts Avenue in Hyde Park.
