Das Kapital wants you to feature on his next album

Johannesburg – Local producer and DJ Das Kapital is looking for local acts to feature on his next album.

The muso, who is also the co-founder of Do Work Records, is calling on artists across South Africa to submit tracks for possible inclusion in his upcoming album, Das Kapital Presents Overtime Volume 2

After releasing Das Kapital Presents Overtime Volume 1 in 2016 – a compilation of 15 tracks from South African dance music and electronic artists and producers – the DJ says the second edition will be even better.

“Volume 2 will take that concept to the next level; bringing together all of South Africa’s dance music scenes, putting them into one album and creating a holistic overview of what’s really kicking proverbial ass in the local, burgeoning scene,” the press statement reads.

Weather you’ve been in the game for a while, or you’re just starting out, if you think you’ve got what it takes submit your track via email to info@doworkrecords.com in MP3 format by no later than 4 August.

“Each submission must be original, and needs to be accompanied by the producer’s full name, DJ name as well as a contact number. No DataFileHost link will be accepted, and private downloadable SoundCloud links are preferred. Samples that have not been cleared, remixes, or tracks previously featured on streaming sites will not be eligible,” the press statement continues.
