Former Miss Universe Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters has wrapped up filming the Supergirl movie in Salar de Uyuni, Bolivia.

Demi-Leigh revealed in February that she had landed a cameo in the upcoming film. "I have a teeny, tiny, baby role," she said in an Instagram Story.

The original Supergirl movie was released back in 1984.

According to Deadline, Oren Uziel, the screenwriter behind 22 Jump Street and The Cloverfield Paradox, has signed on to pen the script.

Based on reports, he is the only person currently attached to the project.

After she wrapped, Demi-Leigh wrote on Instagram: "I love my job! Someone once told me if you love what you do, it won't feel like you work a day in your life."

She added that there a lot of uncertainty in her field of work, and not knowing what's next is hard to accept - however being able to see "our beautiful world" is a blessing.
