Generations: The Legacy fans hold on to your seats and don’t touch that dial as action-packed drama and intrigue heads your way. The popular SABC1 soap invited select members of the media to a private screening at the luxurious Js Revive Wellness Spa in the north of Jozi.
A major spoiler alert is that TV’s most notorious villain Jack Mabaso gets shot at point blank range, but whether he lives or dies is a nail biting cliffhanger! Another big reveal is the addition of Terence Bridget as the newest cast member to join the soap. “Terence boasts an illustrious career, having been on many soaps and sitcoms. The Generations: The Legacy is happy to have Terrence on board,” says Gaaratwe Mokhethi, head of Public Relations at Generations: The Legacy.
With the sneak peek out of the way, journos got to mingle with some of the cast, among them the queen of Gomorrah, Lucy Diale (played by the talented Manaka Ranaka), Vusi Kunene (Jack Mabaso) and Moopi Mothibeli (Smanga Moroka).
Generations: The Legacy creator and executive producer Mfundi Vundla, who recently had to put out fires as a result of the soap’s sexually explicit storylines, says he is proud of Generations: The Legacy’s growth in viewership and stressed that maintaining a viewership of more than eight million is no joke.
