Singer Vusi Nova has been hijacked and kidnapped. Vusi was kidnapped during a high jacking incident outside his house in Melville, Johannesburg. The incident occurred in the early hours of the morning as Vusi got home from the album launch of Afro soul singer Ntando Bangani.
Vusi was driving a white Land Rover 2007 model with the registration VPX 201 GP.
An unnamed passenger by said, Just before 5AM, a group of men stopped next to his car in a VW Polo, approached him and drove off with him in the car.
Vusi's record label Muthaland records owner Lance Stehr confirmed the hijacking and kidnapping telling DRUM; "He had just come from Soweto Theatre for the launch of Ntando's new album when the incident occurred. And if anyone has seen him and his car, please contact authorities. We really hope he is safe and pushing for his safe return."
