Johannesburg – Controversial group Die Antwoord have never been afraid to take shots at some major players in the entertainment industry.
In August, group member Ninja accused Suicide Squad director David Ayer of copying their style (read more on that here). This time the muso has set his sights on another big production.
In an Instagram post he shared on Wednesday, Ninja took aim at the 2015 film, Chappie, claiming that both him and Yo-Landi Visser (who both starred in the flick) were not credited for artwork used.
"DIE ANTWOORD’s secret lair in CHAPPIE hand-painted by Ninja and Yolandi… dumb fucks forgot to credit us… said art direction was some fat fuck who smiled in our face when niell was around then flipped 2 retard gremlin face when niell was gone (sic)," he wrote.
And in case you were wondering, Ninja says Die Antwoord will be making their own movie soon. "We gon make our own movie soon wid no brakes on… here cumz fun (sic)"
