Johannesburg – Due to the economy not performing at its best as of late, DJ Tira has promised fans there will 'no increase' in the price of his verses and hooks on a track.

In 2018 the muso announced that his prices had gone up, saying that he charges R70 000 for contributions to the verse of a song, and R100 000 for any work done on the chorus.

But due to the "economy of the country not doing well", the star tweeted on Sunday that he will not be hiking up prices for now.

"I'm pleased to announce with the rand and economy of the country not doing well, my verses and my hooks will remain at R70k and R100k respectively. No increase. I hope talent that wish to work with Malume will appreciate these news, [sic]" he wrote.
