Dr Smile chats about his first EP: 'I want to disrupt the norm'

Johannesburg – Local celebrity denstist and musician LEXLEO, AKA Dr Smile, has released his very first full body of work.

The star went live on Instagram on Thursday to drop LEXTAPE, a five-track EP.

Speaking to The Juice, the star says he wants his music to make people “question their realities”.

“I want to break stereotypes. I want to disrupt the norm. I want to try show the kids that there is an alternative cool, without vulgarity and immorality. I want to let people into my mind, my life, my dreams, my struggles, my mistakes, my trials and my victories,” he explains.

After dropping his first single Bafun’ Ukwazi in June, LEXLEO says his EP is a further exploration of his talent. “An adventure, if you will, that I am at the forefront of, and that everyone gets to take part in,” he adds.
