East Coast Radio announces new drive time host

Johannesburg – After announcing in early July that Phat Joe will be leaving the radio station, East Coast Radio broke the news on Monday that presenter Bongani be taking over the drive slot alongside Mags van der Westhuizen.

Bongani joined East coast radio in 2015, and during his time there has proven to be quite popular with listeners.

Speaking about the big move to drive, he said in a press statement: “Our show is going to be light-hearted and fun but we’ll keep things exciting and always involve our listeners.”

East Coast Drive with Bongani and Mags will include sports presenter G-Dawg, and Rory Petzer as producer. The show will start on Monday 31 July from 15:00 to 18:00.
