Johannesburg – On Sunday Empress SA Tshepo Makupu joined the Food For Life SA team as they handed out parcels to the community of Alexandra in Johannesburg.
The beauty queen has been actively involved in the Food For Life charity drive every month since the beginning on 2018.
Speaking about the project, Tshepo said in a statement to the press: "I am inspired by the smiles of the children and appreciation from the adults who have a meal for their family for the next 2 or 3 days. Food is a basic need, and it's an important initiative."
In December 2018 Tshepo was crowned the first ever Empress South Africa at a ceremony held at the Suncoast Casino in Durban. Empress South Africa is the national title of the Miss Eagle SA online beauty platform known as MESA 2018.
