After returning to South Africa from a trip to the United States, eNCA anchor Jane Dutton has taken precautionary measures to self-quarantine amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

On Sunday, President Cyril Ramaphosa has confirmed that there are now 61 confirmed positive cases of coronavirus in the country.

The broadcast journalist has been on leave and off-air for the past two weeks.

While on vacation, Jane travelled to the United States, which has now become classified as a high-risk country.

The eNCA anchor will present herself for testing and remain off-air until the stipulated self-quarantine period has passed, and she has received a clean bill of health.
