Exclusive Books offers full refund on Bonang's book

Cape Town - Exclusive Books offers a full refund to customers who purchased Bonang: From A to B.

Exclusive Books have released a statement saying that they offer a full refund to customers who feel "dissatisfied" with their copy of Bonang Matheba's book, Bonang: From A to B. 

The apology follows social media backlash the book received when readers noticed numerous spelling mistakes and inaccuracies.

"It is our understanding that the publishers are proceeding with a new edition of the book which we will review and consider stocking at the appropriate time," the statement read.

Speaking to The Juice about the inaccuracies in the book, BlackBird Books and Jacana said, "We wanted to ensure that Bonang's voice landed as truthfully as possible, hence the direction and conversational nature of the read."

The book store went on to apologise to customers who were "dissatisfied with their purchase."
