Cape Town - Springbok rugby player Francois Hougaard and his girlfriend Annebell van Heerden have reportedly called it quits.
Huisgenoot reported that the couple, who have been dating for 14 months, have ended their relationship.
According to the publication, Annebell posted a picture wearing a bikini top and shorts on Instagram and captioned it: "#bestthingaboutabreakupisthebodythatfollow."
Speaking to Huisgenoot, Annebell confirmed that the pair have broken up. "No, nothing went wrong. It's just circumstances." She didn't want to elaborate on these "circumstances".
Francois has remained tight-lipped about the breakup. And spent some time with rugby player, Wynand Olivier, on Sunday.
