Gigi Lamayne on Mabala Noise: There was no money involved

Cape Town - Here's what rapper Gigi Lamayne had to say about allegedly receiving R5m from the record label, Mabala Noise.

Leader of the EFF, Julius Malema, made a bold statement at a press conference at the IEC results centre earlier this month, claiming that the record label gave each signed artist "not less than R5 million."

Artists signed to the label, Khanyi Mbau and Riky Rick have gone on record, denying these claims. Khanyi Mbau added that even though they didn't get paid R5m, it was still a "life changing amount."

Now local rapper, Gigi Lamayne, has now spoken out about the statement made by Malema. "There was no money involved. There was no poaching involved. I left the management team and moved over to the record label," she said in the video.
