Cape Town - South African singer Heinz Winckler and his wife Aletté welcomed their first daughter on Friday.
Their daughter, Alannah Eliza, was born at 05:20 at the Mediclinic Vergelegen in Somerset West. The new addition to their family is 55cm tall and weighs 4.04kg.
Aletté shared the exciting news on her Instagram, writing: "It was quick! It was painful! It was supernatural! We have a daughter."
She added: "She is perfect, and we are incredibly thankful towards God and everyone who prayed for us, supported us, and just loved us during this time."
The couple announced in June that they are expecting their fourth child, and shortly after that revealed the gender of their baby.
Alette, who has three boys, told Huisgenoot that she can't wait to play dress-up with her daughter, as she has always been jealous of the cute girl clothes in the store.
