Johannesburg - Here's what City Press thought of Riky Rick's new video featuring Frank Casino: Family.
This video dropped last week from a duo who lit the charts up the last time they rocked together. Hip-hop star Riky Rick plays host to Frank Casino this time.
Casino featured Riky on the remix to his hit Whole Thing, but the remix was by no means as nice as the original – Rick alongside Casino’s animated and unorthodox flow just seemed bland.
I figured homie would just get faded again, but that wasn’t the case. He actually comes up nice. The two brothers roll around Jozi in an old-school suburban Cressida. The whole aesthetic is very retro, like it was shot on some apartheid-era cameras.
It’s really fresh and at one stage it even looks like the homies are hotboxing the ride as smoke streams out of the open windows.
If Riky can keep delivering these types of bars, then the game is in trouble. These are real grown man flows, none of the screaming and using words like hullabaloo like he used to do.
