Here's what we know about Four's new single

Johannesburg – After keeping fans waiting a while, X Factor SA winner’s Four have decided it’s time to drop some new music. 

The group made the annoucement on Wednesday on Instagram saying: “This Friday everyone! We can’t wait for you all to hear our new single #Island. Get requesting guys!” 

Speaking to The Juice, the guys told us three things we need to know about their track before it drops. 

1. The men behind the music 

The track was “written by Jethro Tait [one of the group members] and produced by Victory Chauke.” 

2. The song will whisk you away 

According to group member Steven Lee, the track is meant to take the listener away to an island paradise. “The story of the song is telling a loved one, who finds world a little overwhelming at times, that you will be their escape, a moment of peace, their island. So the feel of the song is kind of chilled and tropical, with intention of sonically taking the listener away to an island. It’s a feel good love song with catchy guitar riffs and strong percussion elements.” 

3. Video coming soon… 

When asked about a music video for the upcoming track, the guys responded: “Yes, we have plans to shoot a music video.”
