ICYMI: Shekhinah, Yanga and Tweezy rock Coke Studio

Johannesburg – On this week’s Coke Studio, Shekhinah, Tweezy, and Yanga proved that they have what it takes to create some killer tracks in just 48 hours.

ICYMI, here’s what went down.

The Witness The Funk (WTF) trio met fellow Durbanite, Shekhinah, in the Coke Studio to team up with house music master, Heavy K.

Taking on the challenge of creating a track in just two days, Heavy K took the time to find out what each artists style is before deciding on a beat.

WTF producer, Aux Cable, joined the group to help create their track, Never Change.

In the second half of the show, rapper Yanga teamed up with Zimbabwean singer, Berita, and producer, Tweezy, to make a hot track. Having worked with Yanga before, Tweezy decided to let Berita come up with the song's melody on her guitar, later adding beats to the melody.

In the end the trio produce their song, Vesu Yeke, a head-bopping track with a fresh Kwaito feel.
