Cape Town - Former Miss World Rolene Strauss recently moved to Paarl near Cape Town and is already enjoying her new life in the Boland!
Rolene until recently lived in Bloemfontein where she was completing her medical studies. Now she and her husband, D’Niel Strauss, and their baby son are finally living together as a family.
Their baby turns one years old on 6 January and a month later the couple will celebrate their second wedding anniversary.
Rolene (25) posted a picture on Instagram jokingly complaining about her struggle to find space for all her clothes in their new home! She even gave us a glimpse of her beautiful kitchen.
Rolene recently told Afrikaans magazine Sarie that she’d kept a journal every day when she was Miss World. She plans to publish a book with the life lessons she learnt in the year of her reign.
She’d also like to study for an MBA degree sometime in the near future – but for now she’s happy just to be a mom to her tot.
Her plans for 2018 include appearances at the holistic healing clinic her sister-in-law, Ledivia Strauss, is opening in April in Paarl, Rolene told Sarie.
