Cape Town - Three-year-old Vincent, son of TV presenter and model, Janez Vermeiren (39), was recently hospitalised again – this time to remove a lymphatic malformation from his left foot.

The little boy was rushed to hospital in 2016 after falling off a trampoline. “This time it was a controlled environment – last time we rushed to hospital in a state of total panic,” Janez says.

Vincent’s most recent hospital trip was to remove a lymphatic malformation from his left foot. “He was born with it but doctors recommended we wait until he’s a bit older to have it removed,” Janez says.

The Wingin’ It presenter’s wife, Juliana, shared a pic on Instagram of the couple next to Vincent’s hospital bed.

“He started school and had to start wearing school shoes,” says the former Top Billing presenter. But the swelling on his foot made it hard for Vincent to wear tight school shoes.

Vincent has already been discharged from hospital. He’s recuperating at their Johannesburg home, where he’s watching cartoons on TV from the comfort of his dad’s bed, Janez adds.

“Doctors say it will take three months for the swelling to go down. If that doesn’t happen, they might have to inject him with something again to help the swelling go down,” Janez says.

He and Brazilian-born Juliana, a model, also have a two-year-old son, Noah, and Janez has a 13-year-old son, Matisse, from a previous relationship.

Good luck, guys!
