Jason Momoa withdraws from Comic Con Africa

Johannesburg – Aquaman and Game Of Thrones actor Jason Momoa will no longer be attending Comic Con Africa. The announcement was made on the official Instagram page for the festival on Monday.

“We are sorry to announce that due to an unforeseen filming schedule change Jason Momoa has had to withdraw his participation from Comic Con Africa 2018,” the post reads.

It goes on to say: “Jason Momoa sends his sincere regrets and hopes to be able to come see us again at a future event.”

According to the post an additional celebrity guest will be announced soon.

Comic Con Africa will take place from 14 to 16 September at the Kyalami Convention Centre in Johannesburg, with stars like The Big Bang Theory's Kevin Sussman and Star Trek's Rick Worthy in attendance.
