Cape Town - Local songstress Karlien van Jaarsveld and husband Joe Breytenbach are expecting their second child together.
Karlien has twin boys from a previous marriage to former rugby player, Derick Hougaard. This will be Joe's second child.
Speaking to Huisgenoot on Wednesday Karlien confirmed the pregnancy, saying that she is 13 weeks pregnant.
According to the singer, she and husband Joe were shocked, as the new addition to the family was unplanned.
She tells the magazine that she couldn't be happier about the news, and that Elah (2), Daniel and Eliah (5) are looking forward to welcoming another sibling.
In 2015, Karlien suffered a miscarriage with a baby girl, she named Evah.
She was pregnant for 19 weeks, with the child she shared with ex-husband Derick.
