Cape Town - Musician Khaya Mthethwa has opened up to his fans about the pressures of fame.
The singer took to Twitter to get real about the high expectations that come with his celebrity status. In a series of tweets, that got some fans worried, the muso wrote about the pressures of being in the limelight.
"Sometimes I wish I could unfamous myself so I’m not under pressure to look successful! I want real success not the lookalike!" he tweeted.

This is the reason why i dont treat “famous people” any different than i treat a normal person. We put celebs on a pedestal, making them holier than thou, seeing them as rich, special etc. and all that pressure and living up to that standard for them is sometimes alot.
