Kwesta and Wale go platinum in SA

Cape Town - South African rapper Kwesta’s single, Spirit has gone platinum according to a post on his Instagram page.

The song features American rapper Wale and was released in October of this year.

According to The Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) a single is platinum when it ships 20 000 copies to retailers. For further certification benchmarks, check out this page.

To celebrate his new achievement Kwesta will be hosting a party in Zone 6, Soweto on Sunday, 10 December.
