Kwesta’s album and single go gold in SA

Cape Town – One of the hottest singles of the year Ngud' by Kwesta (feat. Cassper Nyovest) has been certified gold.

But that’s not the only good news for raspy voiced rap star Kwesta. His album titled, DaKAR II, which carries the single, is selling like hotcakes too. And has reached gold status in the four months since its release earlier this year.

FYI- The Recording Industry of South Africa (RiSA) considers an album gold for 20 000 copies shipped to retailers and platinum for 40,000 copies shipped.

Kwesta was congratulated, on his dual achievements, by rapper Riky Rick and Gabi Mbele.
