Kyle Deutsch gives us the inside scoop on his new music video

Cape Town - Kyle Deutsch just released his new video for the remix of his popular track Can't Get Enough.

The remix features Kwesta, Tellaman, BigStar Johnson and Sheen Skaiz.

The Juice got in touch with Kyle about what it was like to film the video and more about the cool clip.

Here's our chat with Kyle Deutsch:

What was it like to film in the Kwa-Zulu Natal Midlands?

Filming in the Midlands was great, The Midlands is an absolutely beautiful place and you never really know what the weather is going to be doing but luckily enough for us the weather was how it was; to suit the mood of the song and the video plan that we had. The place that we went to had no electricity and no signal so there were some challenges.

We arrived up in The Midlands at about 12 at night, waited at the garage for people at the bottom, you couldn't really see where you were driving and the weather was really, really hectic. We had to pull a trailer with a generator up the mountain to get to the place where we were shooting; we did this at like 02:00. So, yeah it was a tough weekend and it was freezing, we didn't have food, we didn't plan on staying the extra while we ended up doing, so we had food shortages even. All in the name of art and we had fun while doing it. It was a good time.

How did your partnership with Spree come about?

Spree jumped on board when they heard that we were shooting a music video, I think because of the quality of the original Can't Get Enough video. They were excited to shoot a TV ad and so we jumped on board and ran with the collab in that way. They were already going to do the clothing for the video as well, so it just made perfect sense.

How did the remix featuring all these other artists come about?

It started when I played the new track for Kwesta and he asked to repeat it and keep it on repeat for like six times, or seven times and then he was like 'I am keen to drop a verse on this for a remix...' We were excited about that, we then got Tellaman involved and then BigStar so they both sent us two separate verses and we weren't sure how we were going to piece together, playing around with order of verses.

And then we finally laid it down and Sheen Skaiz called us (this was three days before the song was due to drop) and said, 'I've done a verse for the remix, I just did it with Sketchy and will send it through to you. So we heard it and we loved it so we decided to keep it. We changed the artwork that we had made and released the track.
